Vault Rare
Vault Rare is a unique fintech product reimagining loans and disrupting the industry. It was developed as a showcase for what Vault, Thought Machine’s core banking technology can achieve. Editable loans concept was inspired by Nike’s successful customisable trainers initiative, Nike ID.

Editable loans concept was inspired by Nike’s successful customisable trainers initiative, Nike ID.
The brand uses meta spheres, which were named as "cells", to represent the loan itself. Changes made are reflected within its shape, colour and pattern. The logo houses the cell in a solid geometrical structure, representative of Vault itself, the technology at the heart of this product.

I joined this project a few months before it was about to be showcased at the Singapore Fintech Festival.
It needed a lot of work on the brand side which I ended up focusing on - Working on brand Art Direction with CD, designing the logo, typography and colour choices as well as working on the press release and print materials for the exhibition.
I also worked on updating the UI and creating a showcase website for this product as well as storyboarding and sound choice for the animation.

Brand Concept
Through colour the brand communicates mystique and the power of imagination in tech with a premium feeling experience. Typography is sleek, simple and elegant while the logo houses the liquid ever changing crystal inside of a geometric pyramid that represents Vault itself, core banking platform making future of fintech possible.
Design Language
With the brand identity being developed post initial build, its design needed to be informed by the functionality of the product itself and the premium experience it provides. Brand elements such as colour and typography needed to work within the existing UI, giving the user experience a refreshed look, while complimenting the morphing, editable 3D hero beauty element.
Future of Banking
Overall the brand and all the creative executions aim to communicate what the future of banking might look like through a never seen before premium digital experience.
Vault Rare product experience is meant to showcase the full power of Vault itself, Thought Machines core banking platform, and showcase the true potential for disruption and digital innovation within fintech.
